SIMS 22 is pleased to announce that a limited number of young scientist grants, for scientists under 40 years old, will be awarded in the amount of 50000 Yen to support the cost of accommodation. The priority will be given to participants coming from countries with deploying economies.
Winners must give a presentation during SIMS 22 to receive this grant.
In order to submit the application please send an e-mail to: sims22.grant@siss-sims.com with the Subject: “Application for the young scientist grant” and the following attachment: a short curriculum; the abstract(s) submitted to the SIMS conference; a recommendation letter from your advisor/mentor combined as a single pdf file.
Selection will be made based on the supplied documents.
Application process will open on 15 May 2019 and close on 24 June 2019.
Information about results of qualification will be sent to applicants before 22 July 2019.
Remarks
Students can apply to all of the awards, student awards, excellent presentation awards and young scientist awards, but one person is not able to win more than one award.
